Amentum is seeking an Integrated Test Engineer to provide engineering and technical support for surface ship availability for MARMC Code 224. The role requires deep knowledge of JFMM, U.S.

Fleet Forces Command directives, and MARMC guidelines to oversee ITP planning and work certification. Responsibilities include approving ITP development, reviewing AWPs and WTRs, coordinating with AITs, FMA, Ship’s Force and NSY, and briefing the maintenance team and ship's command on test readiness and

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of technical experience with naval structure, mechanical, electrical/HM&E, and C5I equipment.
• Five (5) years' experience in NMD planning, creating work items, and reviewing them.
• Experience using DoD websites and applications (EDFS, NAVSEA PORTALS).
• Knowledge of JFMM and Appendix 4E.
• Experience with Integrated Shipboard Test and Work Certification management.
• Experience reviewing Availability Work Packages (AWPs).
• Ability to communicate with a diverse workforce.

Responsabilités

• Approves and provides oversight of the contractor’s development and management of the ITP and coordinates with Project Manager to ensure the ITP reflects the AWP and integrated production schedule.
• Review the Authorized Work Package (AWP) and work specifications to evaluate and ensure maintenance activities have properly tied work items to key events and milestones.
• Review work specifications to ensure appropriate Work to Test Relationships (WTR) have been developed for contractors, AITs, FMA, Ship’s Force and NSY.
• Review Hull, Mechanical, Electrical, and C5I system test procedures prior to issuance and after completion of testing.
• Act as MARMC primary POC to collect schedule and testing information from all activities including AITs, FMA, Ship’s Force and NSY.
• Provide a detailed brief outlining MARMC RMC work certification process and roles/responsibilities of each signatory.
• Support the MARMC Chief Engineers and SME for all issues related to technical work certification.
• Coordinate the completion of the availability completion certification process and signature Sheets per guidance.
• Verify that the MRL and ERL are updated by the Lead Maintenance activity and provided to teams.
• Participate in IPTD meetings as SME on Test and Work Certification.
• Provide debriefs to ship’s CO/CHENG and draft naval correspondence when required.
