Job summary

The Senior Integrated Scheduler at vTech Solution leads the development, maintenance, and optimization of the Integrated Master Schedule for a multi-year IT modernization program. You will coordinate projects, workstreams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure schedule integrity and strategic reporting.

You will deliver weekly IMS reports, perform critical path analysis, manage baselines, and mentor project teams in scheduling best practices using Microsoft Project and MS 365 tools.

Job Summary:

The Senior Integrated Scheduler is the lead scheduling professional responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing the integrated master schedule for a large-scale, multi-year technology modernization program. This role involves coordinating multiple projects, workstreams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure schedule integrity, manage dependencies, monitor performance, and provide strategic reporting that supports informed decision-making across the program.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and improve the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) using Microsoft Project.
• Consolidate multiple project and workstream schedules into a comprehensive program-level schedule.
• Establish and maintain task dependencies, milestones, schedule baselines, and resource allocations.
• Perform critical path analysis and identify potential schedule impacts and bottlenecks.
• Monitor schedule performance and recommend corrective actions as needed.
• Facilitate schedule update cycles and maintain schedule governance processes.
• Produce weekly integrated schedule reports and dashboards, tracking milestones, variances, and forecasts.
• Analyze schedule trends and provide actionable recommendations to program leadership.
• Prepare executive-level schedule presentations and briefing materials.
• Identify and document schedule-related risks, assumptions, constraints, and dependencies.
• Maintain program-level schedule risk logs and mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with project managers and workstream leads to address schedule challenges and elevate critical issues.
• Coordinate planning activities across multiple program workstreams and support governance reviews.
• Provide Microsoft Project training and mentoring to project managers and team members.
• Develop scheduling best practices, templates, and user guides.
• Engage with stakeholders including program leadership, vendors, and external partners to communicate schedule status and recommendations.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, IT, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in project or program scheduling and controls.
• At least 5 years supporting large-scale IT modernization, digital transformation, ERP, cloud migration, or enterprise technology programs.
• Experience managing Integrated Master Schedules for complex multi-project environments.
• Experience within a Program Management Office (PMO) and matrixed organizations.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Project scheduling and integrated schedule management methodologies.
• Strong skills in critical path methodology, baseline management, schedule variance analysis, resource leveling, and milestone management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Microsoft Project certification or PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP).
• Experience supporting public-sector, government, or highly regulated organizations.
• Familiarity with program management tools such as ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, Jira, Power BI, Smartsheet, and Visio.
• Coaching and mentoring experience in schedule management best practices.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to influence and collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups.

Special Considerations:

• Must coordinate with multiple teams and stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
• Role may require supporting governance reviews, executive steering committees, and legislative reporting.
• Ability to manage schedule risks and elevate critical path delays promptly.
• Responsible for promoting schedule management maturity within the program.

• Full-time role supporting a large-scale, multi-year program with ongoing schedule update cycles and reporting deadlines.
