Lead a team of Integrated Program Planners, in collaboration with Program Planning leadership and Program Management, from inception through completion for a diverse portfolio of new and ongoing projects; including the development, maintenance and critical analysis of the Integration Master Schedule and associated artifacts, including Agile processes.
Collaborate with counterparts at corporate and LM business areas to leverage specialties with an overarching focus on program execution while ensuring compliance with program objectives, formulating, and recommending corrective actions measures for revisions, allocations, and requirement fulfillment
Serve as an advisor to the senior leadership team on and off program and partner with the customer to understand and execute to agreed upon requirements
Ensure appropriate cost / schedule integration process is in place and being managed properly by the team, and use the data to provide proactive key early warning indicators to leadership with recommendations for resolution to avoid a reactionary posture
The ideal candidate must have proven leadership ability and effectively demonstrate the capability to model the Full Spectrum Leadership imperatives. The position requires the ability to build effective relationships across multiple facets of the organization including peers, subordinates, customers, and employees. A successful candidate for this position will possess at least 15years of professional experience in planning, program management, and finance, complemented by a bachelor’s degree
Must be a US citizen and have the ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret‑level security clearance.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and critical‑path‑methodology tools such as OpenPlanProfessional, MicrosoftProject, or PrimaveraP6 is essential, as is demonstrated expertise in developing and maintaining complex network schedules—including integrity checks, critical‑path analysis, and schedule‑risk assessments.
The individual must exhibit advanced critical‑thinking and complex‑problem‑solving abilities, a solid understanding of Earned Value Management and cost‑schedule integration, and a proven record of briefing senior leadership and customers.
Leadership experience is required, including the ability to guide direct reports and cross‑functional teams, while leveraging influencing and relationship‑management skills to achieve results.
The ideal candidate will have a proven record of leading diverse, geographically dispersed teams in virtual environments and will be adept at creating, maintaining, and analytically supporting program structures. They should demonstrate practical mastery of program‑planning processes and tools, including experience with DCMA surveillances and a solid understanding of the Integrated Program Management DIDs (IPMR and IPMDAR). Expertise in capture and proposal management—covering the development of capture/proposal schedules, coordination of color‑review milestones, and effective support of executive‑review processes is essential. The candidate must also possess hands‑on experience developing and maintaining Work Breakdown Structures, as well as establishing and sustaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and Integrated Master Plans (IMP) with seamless integration into the IMS. Familiarity with integrating subcontractor and government‑furnished equipment into the Prime Contractor’s IMS, together with background in production, sustainment, and depot operations, is required. Advanced Excel capabilities—including macro creation, lookup tables, and VBA programming—are expected, along with the ability to communicate through a variety of techniques and to build strong, collaborative relationships across stakeholders.
Familiarity with integrating subcontractor and government‑furnished equipment into the Prime Contractor’s IMS, together with background in production, sustainment, and depot operations, is required.
