Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a world-class Project Controls professional to join the Skunk Works Planning Team. The role focuses on schedule development, baseline management, and Earned Value Management within integrated program planning.

You will work across engineering, procurement, contracts, and production to deliver on-time, in-budget outcomes, using tools like Deltek Open Plan, Milestones Professional, and Microsoft Excel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) including Cost / Schedule Integration.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams, projects, or programs.
  • Experience presenting to leadership, customers, or other stakeholders.
  • Previous experience with Deltek OpenPlan, Primavera, Microsoft Project, or a similar tool.

  • The candidate is a self-starter and relationship builder supporting an integrated team to ensure successful program execution and performance, including all aspects of a validated Earned Value Management system.
  • Responsibilities include the development and maintenance of schedules.
  • Candidate will integrate and assess schedule impacts of proposed work on existing and future plans.
  • Candidate will refine knowledge of Critical Path Methodology and how to apply it in schedule network development and analysis.
  • Position interacts across functional organizations such as engineering, procurement, contracts, business management, and production.
  • This position will be an active participant in the evaluation of planning products and practices and will be instrumental in the remediation activities upon identification of gaps.

Key Duties

Partners with Program & Senior Management to drive cost, schedule, and technical performance by facilitating integration across all functions. Responsible for developing compliant Integrated Program Schedules which accurately validate the flow, budget, and resources required to execute contractual scope and overarching program strategy. Provides the program with time-phased critical path predictive analysis and actionable planning data, and develops recommended solutions to programmatic execution conflicts. Ensures all commitments are tracked, monitored and statused. Prepares/coordinates the development of planning artifacts for solicitation response. Interfaces with program management, senior management and the customer as the programs planning integrator. Ensures vertical and horizontal integration, and cost/schedule integration between all schedules and other program artifacts.Devises modeling and measuring techniques to integrate risks and opportunities with schedule and cost baseline, and to perform schedule risk assessments. Utilizes performance and health metrics analyses to drive actions resulting in improved program performance.

  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving abilities
  • Previous experience with Deltek OpenPlan
  • Excellent Communication and Organizational skills
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $109700.00 - $203700.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
