Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Huntsville is seeking a Program Planner to drive cost, schedule, and technical performance by coordinating across functions and creating integrated program schedules. You will provide critical-path analysis, risk assessment, and planning data to support execution against contract commitments.

You will collaborate with senior management and customers, ensuring vertical and horizontal integration of schedules with program artifacts, and develop actionable solutions to scheduling

Qualifications

• Experience using a program planning tool (MS Project, Open Plan Professional, or a comparable program/project planning tool).
• Experience briefing internal and external customers.
• Experience with DCMA DECM or schedule compliance Metrics.
• Experience resource loading schedule and Earned Value Management.
• Due to programs being supported, must be a United States citizen.

• Develop compliant Integrated Program Schedules and validate flow, budget, and resources.
• Provide time-phased critical path predictive analysis and planning data.

Standard Job Description: Partners with Program & Senior Management to drive cost, schedule, and technical performance by facilitating integration across all functions. Responsible for developing compliant Integrated Program Schedules which accurately validate the flow, budget, and resources required to execute contractual scope and overarching program strategy. Provides the program with time-phased critical path predictive analysis and actionable planning data, and develops recommended solutions to programmatic execution conflicts. Ensures all commitments are tracked, monitored and statused. Prepares/coordinates the development of planning artifacts for solicitation response. Interfaces with program management, senior management and the customer as the programs planning integrator. Ensures vertical and horizontal integration, and cost/schedule integration between all schedules and other program artifacts. Devises modeling and measuring techniques to integrate risks and opportunities with schedule and cost baseline, and to perform schedule risk assessments. Utilizes performance and health metrics analyses to drive actions resulting in improved program performance. Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience using a program planning tool (e.g. Microsoft Project, Open Plan Professional, or a comparable program/project planning tool)
• Experience briefing internal and external customers
• Experience with DCMA DECM or schedule compliance Metrics
• Experience resource loading schedule and Earned Value Management
• Due to programs being supported, must be a United States citizen

• Active Secret security clearance
• 3+ years of experience in planning or program management related discipline
• Exposure to Network scheduling tool (MS Project, Open Plan, Primavera, etc)
• Critical Path Scheduling methodology
• Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development and maintenance
• Integrated Master Plan (IMP) knowledge
• Earned Value Management
• Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) knowledge
• Advanced Excel skill set including macros, lookup tables and VBA
• Exposure to Schedule Risk Assessment process/tools
• Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $72500.00 - $134600.00

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Flexible work arrangements and schedules (e.g., 4x10), 401(k) match, Paid time off, Holidays, Parental Leave, EAP, Flexible Spending Accounts, Education Assistance, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability.

• Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
