Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Colorado is seeking a Level 3 Program Planner to support NSS GCN, based in Littleton or Highlands Ranch. The role focuses on integrated master scheduling, coordinating with engineering, finance, and operations while maintaining baseline performance and resource alignment.

You will implement planning artifacts, provide schedule risk analysis, and work with management to drive timely execution. A TS/SCI clearance and a bachelor's degree are required.

Qualifications

  • 3-7 years in operational planning or scheduling.
  • Proficient in Open Plan, Primavera, Artemis, or MS Project.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and cost/schedule integration.
  • Strong ability to compile and present information to management.
  • Knowledge of Agile Planning or Scrum Master concepts.
  • United States citizenship with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage detailed schedule networks from design to operations.
  • Interface with Engineering, Finance, and Operations to translate requirements into baselines.
  • Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules validating scope, workload, and resources.

Summary of Key Duties
  • Be part of a team to plan and manage detailed schedule networks from design, assembly, test, and into operations
  • Interface with Engineering, Finance and Business Operations, Supply Chain, and Program Management while working with the entire planning team to translate authorized customer requirements into the performance measurement baseline
  • Develop and maintain compliant Integrated Master Schedules that accurately and comprehensively validate contractual scope, workflow, and resources required to execute the program
  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive progress and performance, monitor changes and status, and facilitate communication between stakeholders
  • Assist in negotiating handoffs between product areas regarding technical content and schedules as well as facilitating workaround planning as required
  • Serve as a liaison by maintaining, publishing, and presenting relevant planning and scheduling information and metrics to provide visibility to management

Standard Job Description

Partners with Program & Senior Management to drive cost, schedule, and technical performance by facilitating integration across all functions. Responsible for developing compliant Integrated Program Schedules which accurately validate the flow, budget, and resources required to execute contractual scope and overarching program strategy. Provides the program with time-phased critical path predictive analysis and actionable planning data, and develops recommended solutions to programmatic execution conflicts. Ensures all commitments are tracked, monitored and statused. Prepares/coordinates the development of planning artifacts for solicitation response. Interfaces with program management, senior management and the customer as the programs planning integrator. Ensures vertical and horizontal integration, and cost/schedule integration between all schedules and other program artifacts. Devises modeling and measuring techniques to integrate risks and opportunities with schedule and cost baseline, and to perform schedule risk assessments. Utilizes performance and health metrics analyses to drive actions resulting in improved program performance. Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.

Basic Qualifications
  • 3-7 years of professional experience in an operational planning or scheduling type of capacity
  • Proficiency in a project management schedule networking tool such as Open Plan (preferred), Primavera, Artemis, MS Project, etc
  • Proven experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and practices including Cost/Schedule Integration, Earned Value Metrics, Performance Measurement/Reporting, and Project Control and Forecasting.
  • Demonstrated ability to compile, prepare and present information to management and customers
  • Agile Planning and/or Scrum Master awareness and knowledge
  • JIRA awareness and knowledge
  • Must be a United States citizen and be able to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $81500.00 - $151300.00
