Acceler8 Talent is seeking an Integrated Photonics Engineer focused on PIC design, layout and fabrication. The role spans the PIC development lifecycle, from concept through tapeout and collaboration with foundries.

You will work across silicon photonics, SiN, and new device architectures, contributing to design flows, process development and verification across multiple stages of fabrication.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in integrated photonics / PICs.
• Background across design, layout, fabrication, test, characterization or a mix.
• Exposure to multi-project wafer or foundry interaction would help.

What would your ideal photonics role look like if you could own more than just one part of the design cycle?

I’m working with early-stage deep-tech companies building next-generation photonic hardware for advanced computing, communications and emerging semiconductor platforms.

These teams are working across silicon photonics, SiN, advanced integration and new device architectures, and they’re looking for engineers who want broader ownership across the PIC development lifecycle.

What you could work on:

• PIC design and layout
• Tapeout and foundry interaction
• PDKs and photonic design flows
• Fabrication and process development
• Design verification, DRC and LVS

What they’re looking for:

Engineers with experience in integrated photonics / PICs, whether your background is in design, layout, fabrication, test, characterization or a combination of these.

If you’ve worked across photonic hardware and enjoy getting involved in more than one part of the development cycle, these could be particularly interesting opportunities.

$150K–$220K base + equity, depending on experience
