Hoyleton Youth & Family Services seeks a Dual Diagnosis Counselor to provide integrated mental health and substance use screening, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and safety planning. Services may be delivered in office, home-based, telehealth, or other approved settings for individuals and families, addressing trauma and co-occurring needs.

The role includes crisis intervention, care coordination, and recovery support with collaboration across care teams to ensure patient safety and progress.

Formación

• Master’s degree in a behavioral health field is required.
• Current CADC credential is required.
• Clinical license or license eligibility preferred; practice within supervision and scope requirements.
• Experience with assessment and therapy for mental health and substance use disorders preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provides individual, group, and family therapy for mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders.
• Completes biopsychosocial assessments and screens for safety risks.
• Develops and updates individualized treatment plans with clients and families.
• Uses evidence-based approaches including motivational interviewing, CBT, and relapse prevention.
• Provides crisis assessment and intervention and coordinates with crisis services.
