Job summary

HII's Newport News Shipbuilding seeks a scheduling specialist to prepare, develop, and coordinate the integrated master plan and schedule for complex programs.

You will ensure horizontal and vertical integration across finance, engineering, material, manufacturing and quality, and track progress while performing risk analysis to resolve critical path conflicts using Gantt, PERT, and earned value metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required, 0 years exempt experience.
• Equivalent qualifications may include NNS Apprentice School, NNPS, associate degree with experience, military E-5+ or higher, or high school with years of manufacturing/shipbuilding experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, develops and coordinates the integrated master plan and schedule to meet program objectives.
• Ensures major projects and program schedules are integrated across finance, engineering, material, manufacturing and quality.
• Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical path conflicts.
