Job summary

SAIC in Chantilly, Virginia, is seeking a Program Control / Schedule Analyst to develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for multiple programs. You will analyze schedules, provide status updates to Government personnel, and recommend actions to keep projects on track.

The role requires strong MS Project skills, experience with schedule management, and the ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or related discipline; five or more years of experience.
• Masters degree with three or more years of experience.
• AS or AA degree with four additional years of experience; or eight years of experience may substitute for a BS/BA.
• PMP and/or Agile certification is a plus, but not required.
• ITIL certification is a plus, but not required.
• Two+ years of experience providing IMS support.
• Two+ years of Project Management experience.
• Experience using MS Project to plan and document program schedules.
• Excellent writing, organization, verbal communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Project
• Maintain associated schedule milestones and related sub-projects
• Work collaboratively across the enterprise and with internal and external stakeholders
• Coordinate activities with IT portfolio managers, policy leads, resource managers, and program managers
• Capture, document, and present analysis process, findings, and project statuses to decision makers
• Understand, document, and communicate enterprise interdependencies
• Ensure meeting coordination, scope clarity, policy compliance, and alignment with strategic objectives
• Work closely with the Government customer to analyze schedules, and make recommendations related to management of the schedule, performance status, project contract actions, system dependencies, and critical path
