Worthington Steel is seeking an experienced communications and marketing professional to strengthen our brand across digital, earned and corporate channels. You will lead content development for our website and social media while supporting media, investor relations and digital campaigns.

The ideal candidate excels at storytelling, interviewing executives and experts, and delivering polished content through strong project management and collaboration with internal teams and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in communications, content marketing, digital communications or integrated marketing.
• Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading with ability to develop content for multiple audiences.
• Strong editorial judgment and ability to develop story ideas.
• Experience interviewing executives, employees or subject matter experts.
• Experience managing corporate website content through a CMS.
• Experience managing corporate social media channels and content.
• Working knowledge of SEO/GEO/AEO and digital content optimization.
• Strong project management and ability to manage multiple priorities; AP style familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead integrated content strategy across the website, social channels and external communications.
• Lead content development and editorial calendar; identify stories and opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams, agencies, photographers and other resources to produce content.
• Apply SEO and analytics to improve organic visibility and performance.
• Support investor relations and media relations activities as needed.
• Maintain Worthington Steel's brand voice and editorial standards.
• Monitor trends and report performance metrics to inform decisions.
