Job summary

The engineer collaborates with software and hardware teams, conducts risk assessments, and develops comprehensive ILS documentation. A clearances-ready background and travel willingness are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant systems engineering, logistics engineering, sustainment, or integrated logistics support experience, or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of prior related integrated logistics support, sustainment, or logistics systems engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Planning and coordination of all logistics elements to ensure all integrated logistics support requirements for the program are identified.
• Develop and support the generation and review of logistics support documentation, including ILSP, LCSP, LCCA, LORA, PPL, MTA, SERD, and other LSAs.
• Conduct logistics analyses and assessments such as supportability analysis, LORA, spare parts range/depth, DMSMS, and risk assessments.
• Analyzing system lifecycle costs, ensuring sustainability, and planning for obsolescence, upgrades, or disposal.
• Utilize ILS tools and software to track logistics data, monitor system performance, and generate reports for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project engineers, design engineers, program managers, and customers to integrate logistics considerations into system design.
• Obtain and maintain any security clearances required by client to perform work.
• Travel up to 10% for off-site program meetings and potential security considerations.
