Job summary

RIVERSPORT in Oklahoma City is seeking a Communications Manager to tell the organization's story across digital, social, earned media and visual platforms. This role blends social media, public relations, content creation, photography, video and day-to-day graphic design within brand standards.

You will develop coordinated content plans, manage channels, produce media assets and support programs, events, memberships, fundraising and partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, graphic design or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in communications, marketing, public relations or digital media.

Responsibilities

• Manage RIVERSPORT's digital media channels and content calendar, including creating, scheduling and publishing engaging content.
• Produce and edit photography, short-form video and digital content highlighting athletes, programs, events, partners and community impact.
• Monitor social engagement, respond or route inquiries and track performance to recommend improvements.
• Develop coordinated monthly, quarterly and annual content plans supporting organizational priorities.
• Send press releases, media advisories, story pitches and organizational announcements.
• Build relationships with community organizations, tourism partners, sponsors and stakeholders in Oklahoma City and beyond.
• Coordinate event-specific communications plans with the Events & Competition Manager and program teams.
