Pawnee Mental Health Services is seeking a dedicated individual to provide direct support and supervision to clients in the CSU, following individualized care plans. You will help maintain a safe, clean environment and support daily living activities.

You will also lead structured activities, de-escalate crises with trauma-informed techniques, document observations, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on patient care, admissions, and transitions.

Qualificações

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
• Basic computer skills for electronic data entry and retrieval.
• A valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance compliant with Pawnee policies.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct support and supervision to clients in the CSU per individualized care plans.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for clients and staff.
• Conduct routine safety checks and document observations.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as hygiene, meals and self-care.
• Lead psychosocial groups and structured activities as directed by clinical staff.
• De-escalate crises using trauma-informed, nonviolent intervention techniques.
• Monitor vital signs and client status under clinical supervision.
• Report concerns to licensed staff or supervisor promptly.
• Facilitate admissions, discharges, and transitions under supervision.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, case management and psychiatry teams.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct support and supervision to clients in the CSU in accordance with individualized care plans.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, secure, and clean environment for all clients and staff.
• Conduct routine safety checks and document observations per department protocol.
• Support clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, meals, and self-care.
• Lead psychosocial groups and structured activities as directed by clinical staff.
• De-escalate behavioral crises using trauma-informed and nonviolent intervention techniques.
• Monitor and document vital signs and changes in client status under clinical supervision.
• Report client concerns, symptoms, or incidents promptly to licensed staff and/or supervisor.
• Facilitate admissions, discharges, and transitions under the direction of licensed team members.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including nursing, therapy, case management, and psychiatry.
• Uphold confidentiality, ethical standards, and compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
• Complete and maintain up-to-date required training for this position.
• Perform all other reasonably related duties assigned by immediate supervisor or other management personnel.

Requirements

Qualifications

Required

• Must be at 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong oral and written communication skills using the English language.
• Basic personal computer skills which enable the entry, retrieval and use of electronic data.
• A valid driver's license and automobile liability insurance maintained in accordance with Pawnee policy and procedure.

All employees will be required to submit to and pass a background check and drug screening.

Preferred

• Knowledge of the needs and challenges of adults and children who experience Severe and Persistent Mental Illness and Severe Emotional Disturbances.
• General knowledge of mental health, substance use and housing systems of care
• Experience with Microsoft Office Software.
• Certified in Basic CPR, First Aid, and/or MANDT - if not, will be required to certify at the earliest opportunity.

Salary Description

$18 an hour
