Wellstar is seeking a Psychologist to join the Primary Care Behavioral Health Integration (PCBHI) team as a Behavioral Health Consultant. The role involves conducting screenings, risk assessments, and brief interventions within a primary care setting, collaborating with psychiatrists and other psychologists for coordinated patient care.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Counseling or Clinical Psychology from an accredited program.
• Current Georgia License as a Psychologist.
• Three years of health/mental/behavioral health experience.
• Ambulatory or hospital setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other behavioral health professionals to inform clinical decisions.
• Engage in consultations with medical professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Support patients in accessing community resources for specialty mental health.
• Provide interventions across the lifespan.
