Job summary

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and basic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Record patient history and vital signs and document chief complaints.
• Perform preventive screenings and health maintenance alerts in the EHR.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist clinicians during procedures.
• Administer injections, immunizations, and basic medications as ordered.
• Conduct point-of-care tests (glucose, pregnancy tests, urine dip).
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection where applicable.
• Operate autoclave and maintain sterile instruments per infection control.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and confidentiality.
• Support MAT/SUD intake, screening, and treatment coordination.
• Assist OB/women's health procedures and prenatal visits under supervision.
• Attend meetings and trainings as assigned.
• Maintain safety and quality measures in line with HRSA/UDS goals.
• Other duties as assigned.
