St Johns Community Health in Los Angeles, CA seeks a Behavioral Health Clinician I to provide screening, counseling and therapy within an integrated medical and behavioral health setting.

The role requires an ACSW or AMFT license in CA, with 2 years of behavioral health experience; bilingual Spanish/English preferred. The position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology, or licensure-eligible toward licensure in CA.
• Two years of behavioral health experience in an integrated health setting.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• Registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as ACSW or AMFT.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, evaluation and mental health treatment.
• Provide individual and group therapy to promote overall wellness per treatment plan.
• Consult with medical providers on psychosocial issues in care plans.
• Triage urgent and routine referrals from medical providers and staff.
• Schedule intake and coordinate with program staff.
• Engage in regular case conferencing with team members.
• Formulate client-centered treatment plans for assigned clients.
• Ensure linkage to case management, medication monitoring and emergency services.
• Collaborate with primary care and other agencies regarding each client.
