Job summary

CJ Schwan’s in Minnesota is seeking a Business Development Systems Analyst – Reporting & Analytics to support reporting and analytics solutions, partner with stakeholders, and help improve data quality, reporting processes, and decision-making.

This role focuses on building reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking, while collaborating with Supply Chain and IT to resolve data challenges and implement new reporting capabilities.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in reporting, analytics, information systems, Supply Chain, or a related area (internships and relevant academic experience considered).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data validation skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, and data analysis.
  • Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SAP BusinessObjects/WebI, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Exposure to ERP or Supply Chain systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDA, or similar solutions is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into business insights.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and eager to learn new systems, tools, and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and enhance Supply Chain reports, dashboards, scorecards, and KPI tracking tools.
  • Monitor reporting accuracy and timeliness; investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve data and reporting issues.
  • Validate and reconcile data to ensure reliable business insights.
  • Gather business requirements and develop reporting solutions that support operational and strategic decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and improve reporting processes.
  • Partner with Supply Chain teams and IT to resolve system, data, and reporting challenges.
  • Support testing, validation, and implementation of new reports, systems, and data integrations.
  • Maintain reporting documentation, data definitions, and process standards.
  • Provide user support and training on reporting tools and analytics processes.
  • Support master data management, data integrity initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.

As a Business Development Systems Analyst – Reporting & Analytics, you'll support reporting and analytics solutions, partner with stakeholders across the organization, and help improve data quality, reporting processes, and decision-making. What We Look For

What We Offer

The base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $99,000 annually with eligibility for a 5% annual incentive bonus, which is based on organizational performance. The range reflects factors such as experience, skills, education, certifications, and location, and starting salary may fall anywhere within the stated range.
