Job summary

BCFS Health & Human Services in Texas is seeking an Intake Specialist to start the intake process for clients seeking services. You will gather, verify, and record client information into PEIRS and Salesforce, ensuring data integrity and accurate input.

You will assess clients’ needs and urgency to direct them to the appropriate staff, maintain referrals, and support outreach and coordination with program staff. Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of related experience and/or training in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Collect and document client information, including completing intake forms and assessments.
• Verify eligibility and required documentation.
• Input and maintain data in PEIRS and Salesforce.
• Provide clients with information about services and next steps.
• Communicate effectively with internal staff to coordinate services.
• Identify urgent needs and escalate to the Program Director when needed.
• Follow up with clients to complete intake and gather missing information.
