Job summary

Celerity Staffing is seeking detail-oriented, patient-focused Certified Pharmacy Technicians to join their remote Intake Specialty Pharmacy team. The role involves serving as a main contact for patients, providers, and insurers while ensuring accurate enrollment, documentation, and prescription processing for specialty patients.

The Intake Specialist I supports patients throughout the intake process by collecting information, coordinating with providers, and ensuring accurate prescription setup

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• National Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification AND pharmacy technician registration/licensure as required by your state of residence.
• Proficient computer and software skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key contact for patients, healthcare providers, and insurance representatives during enrollment and prescription processing.
• Ensure accurate enrollment, documentation, and prescription processing for specialty pharmacy patients.
• Collect and maintain critical information and coordinate communication with providers during the intake process.
• Set up prescriptions accurately within pharmacy systems and maintain patient records.
• Provide outstanding service with attention to detail and strong communication.

Schedule: Full-Time, Temporary-to-Hire

Hours: Must have open weekday availability to work an 8.5-hour shift between 8:00 AM CST and 7:00 PM CST

Minimum Qualifications
