United Counseling Service of Bennington County Inc. (UCS) is seeking an Intake Specialist to be the first point of contact for individuals seeking services.

You will gather information, complete admissions, and align clients with appropriate clinical services, while maintaining data accuracy in the EHR. The role involves coordinating with internal teams, maintaining community resources, and supporting outreach and reporting activities to ensure timely access to care for clients and families in

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Human Services preferred.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in Behavioral Health, Customer Service, Administrative Support.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records (EHR).

Responsibilities

• Handle intake, referral, and admission processes.
• Verify insurance eligibility and assist with service options when needed.
• Coordinate referrals and community resources for clients and families.
• Maintain provider and referral resources and monthly reports.
• Support UA operations and staff development, and provide front desk coverage as needed.
