Qualifications

• 1+ years in client intake or similar client-facing role.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to build rapport quickly with empathy.
• Comfortable handling multiple conversations and priorities.
• Strong computer skills and quick learner of new software.
• Legal support or law firm experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients by phone, email, and online inquiries.
• Conduct initial intake interviews and gather relevant facts and documentation.
• Assess intake matters using established guidelines.
• Collect employment records, timelines, and supporting evidence.
• Keep client records accurate in the case management system.
• Schedule consultations with attorneys.
• Follow up to obtain missing information or documents.
• Communicate professionally and empathetically without offering legal advice.
• Coordinate with attorneys and case managers for smooth handoffs.
• Help improve intake processes to maximize responsiveness and client experience.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job description

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Shifts are scheduled between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM, Monday - Saturday, with some Saturdays on a rotating basis. Optional paid overtime available.

Compensation: Competitive hourly pay based on experience, plus time-and-a-half for overtime

The first conversation a potential client has with the Firm matters. As the Intake Specialist, you are that first point of contact. You guide prospective clients through intake, gather the facts attorneys need, and make sure every qualified lead gets a fast, professional, and compassionate experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in client intake, customer service, sales, legal support, or a similar client-facing role.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication.
• Highly organized with a sharp eye for detail.
• Able to build rapport quickly and communicate with empathy.
• Comfortable managing multiple conversations and priorities at once.
• Strong computer skills and able to learn new software quickly.
• Law firm or legal experience is preferred but not required.
