UNC Health Care is seeking a Patient Access Specialist for the UNC Medical Center Emergency Department in Chapel Hill. The role focuses on accurate ADT data, insurance verification, and timely patient processing in registration systems.
The position requires: High School Diploma or GED and at least two years of customer service or clerical experience. Night shifts, per diem, on-site with a focus on front-end revenue cycle activities.

Position will work at UNC Medical Center Emergency Department every other Friday and Saturday night 11 pm - 730 am.
Summary:
This role is responsible in ensuring that patient access processing is performed in accordance with procedure and documented in a timely and accurate manner in ADT and other clinical information systems. Meets departmental/organizational outcome targets
for process accuracy and timeliness.
