The Intake RN is responsible for assessment, referral and admission activities; ensures prompt response to patient and referral needs, provides clinical assessment and assures appropriateness of risk assessment, crisis interventions and referrals to the appropriate level of care; and promotes patient care consistence with the philosophy and objectives of Glendora Hospital.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Current, valid State of California R.N. license
• Experience with contacting and interacting with insurance providers from private to medi-care and medi-cal
• Psychiatric experience preferred
• Current BLS certification.
• CPI is required within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to assess the age specific needs of all patients.

Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications.
