Carolina Dunes Behavioral Health is seeking an Intake RN for full-time night shifts in Leland, NC. You will manage admissions, initial assessments, and coordination with medical and psychiatric teams to ensure appropriate levels of care and timely admissions.

The role requires RN licensure, with BSN preferred, and experience in mental health admissions. A $5k sign-on bonus is offered; on-site work schedule is Thursday to Sunday, 9pm–7am.

• Skill in telephone etiquette and paging procedures.
• Experience in mental health admissions or related field is desirable.

Mansioni

• Facilitates admissions and assessment processes for incoming patients.
• Provides initial evaluation and initiates integrated assessment, documenting symptoms, functioning and needs.
• Collaborates with medical and psychiatric staff to ensure appropriate admissions and level of care.
• Coordinates with Call Center Team during high volume periods to verify insurance and pre-certifications.
• Reviews charts for medical necessity and obtains orders and DSM-V diagnoses when appropriate.
• Maintains documentation for all admissions and ensures timely follow-up activities.
