Job summary

College Medical Center Phoenix is seeking an Intake Registered Nurse to screen patients for medical considerations, perform comprehensive physical evaluations, and determine appropriate disposition on the Noc (Night) Shift. You will ensure accurate medication reconciliations and coordinate with care teams to support patient flow.

Responsibilities include documenting in hospital systems, collaborating with Nursing Administration for bed status, maintaining patient privacy, and upholding hospital

Qualifications

• Completion of an RN program with ADN or BSN degree.
• Current license with the Arizona State Board of Nursing.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English; additional languages preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisory staff.

Job Summary

Effectively screens patients for medical considerations to determine appropriate disposition. Completes a comprehensive physical evaluation on all assigned patients in a systematic manner to determine the need and type of care and treatment required. Accurately completes physical evaluations and medication reconciliations within a reasonable time frame. Collaborates effectively with Nursing Administration to determine current and accurate bed status. Consults with other departments and/or agencies, as appropriate, to provide an interdisciplinary approach to patient care. Performs specific related duties as directed by the Director of Intake, Intake Clinical Manager, or Hospital CEO. Maintains the confidentiality and security of all hospital, medical staff, and patient-related data and information.

Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for CMC Phoenix roles, including but not limited to shift differential and other special pay practices. The posted compensation for the position is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay that CMC Phoenix in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
