We seek an Intake Registered Nurse to screen patients, perform comprehensive evaluations, and coordinate interdisciplinary care to ensure optimal disposition and treatment.

The role requires an ADN/BSN RN, Arizona nursing license, and English communication ability; fingerprinting and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an RN program with ADN or BSN degree.
• Current license with the Arizona State Board of Nursing.
• English language communication skills; additional languages preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• A Level One Fingerprint Card is required.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for medical considerations to determine appropriate care and disposition.
• Conduct comprehensive physical evaluations and medication reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Nursing Administration regarding bed status.
• Consult with other departments and agencies to facilitate interdisciplinary care.
• Complete documentation in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Uphold patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisory staff.

Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Intake Registered Nurse at College Medical Center Phoenix, where your expertise will make a meaningful impact every day. Effectively screens patients for medical considerations to determine appropriate disposition. Completes a comprehensive physical evaluation on all assigned patients in a systematic manner to determine the need and type of care and treatment required. Accurately completes physical evaluations and medication reconciliations within a reasonable time frame. Collaborates effectively with Nursing Administration to determine current and accurate bed status. Consults with other departments and/or agencies, as appropriate, to provide an interdisciplinary approach to patient care. Performs specific related duties as directed by the Director of Intake, Intake Clinical Manager, or Hospital CEO. Maintains the confidentiality and security of all hospital, medical staff, and patient-related data and information.

Qualifications:

Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for CMC Phoenix roles, including but not limited to shift differential and other special pay practices. The posted compensation for the position is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay that CMC Phoenix in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
