Carolina Dunes Behavioral Health in Leland, NC is seeking an Intake RN to manage admissions, screenings, and financial discussions with patients and families. The role supports the daily intake operations, collaborates with clinical teams, and ensures timely admission decisions in alignment with physician orders.

The position requires RN licensure in NC, with BSN preferred, and a schedule of 10am–10pm, six days on/one off. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Formación

• RN licensure in NC or compact state.
• Experience in mental health admissions preferred.
• Clinical interviewing and assessment skills.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitate admissions and intake evaluations and document patient symptoms and needs.
• Coordinate with medical and psychiatric staff for admissions decisions.
• Assist call center during high volume by processing admission requests and verifying insurance.
• Ensure medical documentation and pre-authorization processes are completed.
• Communicate treatment recommendations to treatment teams and coordinate levels of care.
• Educate patients on medications and monitor responses under psychiatry supervision.
