Job summary

Upper Bay Counseling & Support Services, Inc. (UBCSS) is seeking a professional Intake Representative to assist individuals accessing behavioral health services.

You will be the first point of contact, gather referral and intake information, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and maintain EMR records. Based across three UBCSS locations, you will greet clients, answer calls, and support clinical and administrative teams while protecting confidentiality and delivering friendly, efficient

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Healthcare, clinical, or behavioral health office experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong computer, communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for individuals seeking services.
• Collect referral and intake information.
• Schedule appointments across all three UBCSS locations.
• Verify insurance and obtain authorizations.
• Maintain accurate EMR, insurance, and authorization records.
• Greet consumers, visitors, providers, and staff.
• Answer calls and assist with administrative duties.
• Protect confidential information and support clinical and administrative teams.
