McLaren Health Care is seeking an Intake Specialist to coordinate agency referrals and inquiries, document and process paperwork for patient care services, and ensure timely information flow within the Michigan network.

You will serve as a frontline resource, provide accurate information on services, and collaborate with hospital discharge planners, physicians, and families to maintain continuity of care.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with MS Office and related computer programs.
• Associate degree or completion of college courses.
• Two years related experience in managed care and home health.

Ensures that requests for services and procedures are processed in an effective and efficient manner. Completes the intake process which may include coordination of services, data entry of referral information, general inquiries, and other referral and reimbursement issues. Provides a positive experience for the customer and maintain defined service standards.
