Job summary

The Salvation Army's Adult Rehabilitation Center is seeking an Intake Coordinator to join a compassionate team in the United States. You will interview applicants, assess their needs, and process required forms to support the ARC program.

You will maintain the house tracking system, collaborate with staff and outside agencies, and handle crisis intervention with supervision. Some evenings or weekends may be required to fulfill duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is necessary.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• CADC or comparable residential and rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a team that provides a caring, respectful atmosphere to those seeking our help.
• Work cooperatively with ARC staff, beneficiaries, and other outside agencies.
• Develop and maintain a network of outside referral sources by telephone, letter, and personal contact.
• Interview, assess, and process necessary paperwork for applicants to the ARC program.
• Maintain the house tracking system and update it weekly.
• Assist counselors and senior staff in crisis intervention as needed.
• Meet with supervisor for supervision and evaluation.
• Ensure gratuity reports are updated and forwarded to finance.
• Compile beneficiary time cards weekly.
• Coordinate with outside groups to bring speakers and information modeling Christian recovery values.
• Record and submit statistical information monthly and daily/weekly as required.
• Record test results for compliance screening equipment and maintain equipment.
