Job summary

Light Counseling in Forest, Mississippi seeks an Intake Manager to lead the Intake team, refine processes, and ensure a compassionate, efficient first impression for prospective clients.

You will oversee scheduling, demographics collection, insurance verification, and documentation within the EHR and HubSpot while coaching staff to deliver exceptional client care in a mission-driven, faith-based setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in client intake, scheduling, client services, or healthcare administration.
• Experience leading, training, or supervising staff preferred.
• Strong computer proficiency and aptitude for learning new software.
• Familiarity with insurance verification and behavioral health intake processes.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and privacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming client inquiries via phone, email, and online requests.
• Conduct intake screenings and collect demographic, insurance, and payment information.
• Schedule clients with appropriate providers based on specialty, availability, and clinical recommendations.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EHR system.
• Lead, coach, and supervise the Intake Specialists while supporting daily intake operations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor an Intake Scorecard to track performance metrics.
