Avenues Recovery Center is hiring an intake nurse for our new inpatient detox and residential facility in Ft. Collins, CO. This role involves managing the medical intake, conducting nursing duties, coordinating pharmacy needs, and ensuring accurate documentation to support coordinated care.

Qualified candidates hold an RN license in-state or compact, possess a nursing diploma, and demonstrate strong communication, multitasking, and a compassionate approach aligned with recovery principles.

Qualifications

• Diploma program post-high school required.
• Current RN licensure in-state or compact with multistate privileges.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage medical intake to ensure seamless transition into treatment.
• Perform nursing duties: vitals, drug screens, scheduling, labs.
• Coordinate pharmacy and prescription needs; dispense medication and logs.
• Collaborate with medical, clinical, and UR teams for coordinated care.
• Ensure timely, accurate medical documentation for each client.
