The role emphasizes leadership, program development, and ensuring high-quality case management, with a focus on Spanish-speaking families and complex cases in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Intake experience in child welfare is required.
• Spanish bilingual proficiency is preferred.
• Experience with Differential Response.
• Strong organizational skills for a high-volume environment.
• Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving and conflict resolution.
• Demonstrated communication and writing skills.
• Positive, professional, proactive attitude.
• Certification from the Colorado Child Welfare Academy is required.
• Extensive experience with county-level child welfare and protection programs.

Responsabilités

• Create and implement a training and development plan for workers at all levels.
• Develop a system to manage workload at high volume and pace.
• Obtain and maintain supervisory certification and train staff.
• Maintain supervisory certification and train staff.
• Demonstrate decisive leadership in intake assessments and youth cases.
• Lead by example and set a standard for staff performance.
• Attend voices meetings and court hearings with staff when needed.
