Job summary

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago is seeking an Intake Coordinator to assess eligibility, assist with housing needs, conduct apartment inspections, and coordinate rent renewals. You will transport clients, collect rent, and maintain accurate client records while ensuring compliance with HUD standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Arts/Sciences, 1–3 years’ experience, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 1-3 years relevant experience preferred.
• Strong organization and communication skills essential.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data tracking tools expected.

Responsibilities

• Assess prospective clients for program eligibility via referrals and documentation.
• Assist with housing needs and apartment inspections for HUD standards.
• Coordinate rent renewals, calculate and collect rent, and maintain lease records.
• Transport clients to apartments and support basic household needs as required.
• Maintain up-to-date client files, notes, and databases perpolicies and regulations.
• Engage in community outreach to secure additional resources for clients.
• Participate in ongoing training and skill development.
