Job summary

Friends of Switchpoint Inc. in St. George, Utah, seeks an Intake Case Manager to support housing programs, assess eligibility, and guide clients toward stable housing.

You will greet clients, conduct screenings, explain applications, coordinate referrals, and maintain compassionate, trauma-informed communication. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus. Requires Associate degree preferred and experience in human services, with strong organizational and confidentiality skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred.
• Human Services experience.
• Experience with disabilities helpful.
• Valid Utah Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the first point of contact and face of the Housing Department, greeting clients in person, by phone, and by email.
• Conducts intake screenings to determine basic eligibility for housing programs and rental assistance.
• Provides information on housing programs and services, and assists with referrals to internal staff or external partners.
• Maintains accurate records of client interactions, referrals, and communications.
• Supports clients with resumes, job searches, and employment resources.
