Job summary

Pembroke Hospital, part of Universal Health Services, seeks a Nursing Supervisor for overnights. The role oversees nursing services during shifts and requires leadership of inpatient units, with a focus on patient-centered care.

The position is part-time with every other weekend; MA RN license, nursing degree, and CPR are required, with 4 years of related experience highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
• MA Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• 4 years' related experience.
• CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal and crisis management skills.

Responsibilities

• Have administrative authority, responsibility and accountability for the overall coordination of nursing services during the shift.
• Supervise / coordinate services provided during admissions and on the inpatient units to provide optimal utilization of human and environmental services.
• Provide leadership to nursing staff in the nursing care delivery system in order to ensure accordance with Pembroke Hospital’s philosophy and established nursing standards of practice of care and policies and procedures.

Pembroke Hospital is a 120-bed acute care, inpatient behavioral health facility located south of Boston, in Pembroke, MA. Situated on 26 acres, we offer inpatient and partial hospitalization treatment to teens, adults and older adults, and our services are designed to assess, stabilize, and treat patients by addressing their primary symptoms and problems. The Nursing Supervisor is an essential part of Pembroke Hospital’s inpatient leadership team. This is a part time position and includes an every other weekend requirement.

Responsibilities

• Have administrative authority, responsibility and accountability for the overall coordination of nursing services during the shift
• Supervise / coordinate services provided during admissions and on the inpatient units to provide optimal utilization of human and environmental services
