Job summary

Pembroke Hospital is a 120-bed acute care inpatient behavioral health facility south of Boston in Pembroke, MA. The Nursing Supervisor oversees nursing services during shifts and participates in inpatient leadership.

This is a part‑time role with an every‑other‑weekend requirement, and includes clinical leadership within a patient‑centered care model. Qualifications include a nursing degree and MA RN license, CPR, and at least four years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Nursing; RN licensure required in MA (BSN preferred).
• MA Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
• Minimum of 4 years related nursing experience.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Have administrative authority, responsibility and accountability for the overall coordination of nursing services during the shift.
• Supervise/coordinate admissions and inpatient unit services to optimize staffing and resources.
• Provide leadership to nursing staff to ensure adherence to nursing standards and hospital policies.

Pembroke Hospital is a 120-bed acute care, inpatient behavioral health facility located south of Boston, in Pembroke, MA. Situated on 26 acres, we offer inpatient and partial hospitalization treatment to teens, adults and older adults, and our services are designed to assess, stabilize, and treat patients by addressing their primary symptoms and problems. The Nursing Supervisor is an essential part of Pembroke Hospital’s inpatient leadership team. This is a part time position and includes an every other weekend requirement.

Responsibilities

• Have administrative authority, responsibility and accountability for the overall coordination of nursing services during the shift


• Supervise / coordinate services provided during admissions and on the inpatient units to provide optimal utilization of human and environmental services


• Provide leadership to nursing staff in the nursing care delivery system in order to ensure accordance with Pembroke Hospital’s philosophy and established nursing standards of practice of care and policies and procedures
