$22.31/hr - $28.98/hr

What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for potential home health patients, coordinating with Home Health nurses
  • Manage new referrals and conduct ongoing follow-ups with patients, families, and referral sources
  • Exercise discretion and make independent judgments regarding patient care processes
  • Utilize medical terminology and coding knowledge to facilitate accurate patient information handling
  • Maintain organizational skills with attention to detail and effective follow-up on tasks

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 2 years of recent relevant experience in a healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT/HCPCS/ICD-9 coding
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel and Word
  • Exceptional active listening and interpersonal communication skills
