Qualifications

• Ability to respond to inquiries from customers, regulatory agencies, or community members.
• Ability to communicate effectively with physicians, patients, referral sources, and staff from various disciplines.
• CPR certification completed and HWC within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Participates in patient admission procedures, vital signs, lab specimen collection, assists in ADLs, and prepares patients for diagnostics.
• Ensures patient safety by reporting potential self-harm to an RN.
• Demonstrates basic knowledge of emotional and mental health concepts.
• Completes all required documentation clearly and concisely reflecting patient goals and treatment plans.

Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System has a spacious cafeteria, gymnasium, art/activity room, group rooms, classrooms and other areas to create a pleasant atmosphere for patients and their families. Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System’s quality services are provided by psychiatrists, licensed therapists, certified alcohol and drug counselors, activity therapists and teachers. The Intake Coordinator is responsible for the facilitation of requests for services, resource referral, assessment of patient/family clinical needs, and interfaces with managed care organizations, external reviewers, and other payers.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Participates in patient admission procedure, vital signs, obtains lab specimens, assists in patient ADL’s, preps patients for diagnostic exams, checks belongings for contraband, and all patient care procedures.
• Ensures patient safety by identifying and reporting to an RN any overt and covert potential for purposeful and/or accidental self-injury.
• Demonstrates basic knowledge of emotional and mental health disease concepts,
• Completes all required documentation in a clear, concise manner, showing understanding of patient goals and treatment plan.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:
