Position Summary:
The Access Center Intake Clinicianis responsible forthe facilitation of requests for services, assessment of patient/family clinical needs, referrals to appropriate resources and services. The Intake Clinician works as part of the multidisciplinary team to ensure that patientsreceiveappropriate care. The clinicians alsointerface withmanaged care organizations, external reviewers, otherpayers,and as needed crisis calls to communityER’s.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education:License EligibleMaster’s Degree in social work, counseling, mental health/behavioral sciences, or related field or RN (preferably BSN)required.
Licensure:Licensedin field, preferred.
Experience:Workingknowledge of DSM-V diagnostic criteria, mental statusexam,addictionand recovery fieldrequired.1-2 years of experience in psychiatric health care preferred.Previousexperience inthe mentalhealth field, preferred.
