Not a screener working down a list. You will be the attorney our highest-value prospective clients are escalated to - and a key legal decision-maker in determining which cases the firm takes.
Labor Law PC is a California plaintiff-side employment litigation firm founded in 2018. We built the firm around a simple idea: do serious, high-quality work for clients who genuinely need it, without unnecessary bureaucracy or institutional dysfunction.
We are fully remote, have approximately 45 team members, and have built the systems and infrastructure to support thoughtful, selective case decisions.
We are growing and adding an attorney dedicated to one of the most important decisions we make: which cases we take.
This role is especially well suited to an experienced litigator who wants to stay close to substantive employment law and put years of litigation judgment to use, without carrying an active litigation caseload.
You will evaluate promising employment matters, speak directly with prospective clients when legal questions require attorney involvement, and help determine whether a case meets the firm's standards.
You will work closely with our Head of Intake, intake team, litigation attorneys, and managing partner.
We hire for legal judgment, research ability, communication, and ownership. You should have:
We operate under four core values: Family, Accountable, Centered, and Thoughtful. They guide how we make decisions, communicate, handle problems, and work with one another.
$120,000-$180,000 per year plus annual bonus, depending on directly relevant employment-law experience, legal judgment, research ability, client communication skills, and other qualifications.
If you want to use your employment-law experience to help identify the cases worth pursuing - and have meaningful influence over what enters the firm’s litigation pipeline - we want to hear from you.
