Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in intake, grievance or appeals.
• Strong data entry, problem solving and decision making skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and prioritization to meet deadlines.
• Experience with Medicare/Medicaid or health insurance a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review, research, and enter grievance and appeal cases within one business day of receipt.
• Monitor multiple intake sources and prioritize requests.
• Intake various case types including member/provider grievances and appeals.
• Determine case type and processing requirements from incoming information.
• Manage cases with varying turnaround times and state-specific rules.
• Maintain organization to ensure urgent requests are handled timely.
• Collaborate with QA to ensure accuracy and completeness.
