Universal Health Services, Three Rivers Behavioral Health in West Columbia, SC, seeks an intake specialist to schedule assessments/admissions and conduct comprehensive assessments for clients. You will document findings and coordinate referrals to address patient needs, supporting crisis triage and documentation processes.

The role is Monday–Friday, 9am–5:30pm, with responsibilities including confidentiality, clear communication with staff and families, and efficient handling of insurance

Formación

• Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling or Social Work OR ADN/BSN and current SC RN License.
• Prior intake, assessment, admission and crisis intervention experience with psychiatric population.
• Knowledge of EMTALA, HIPAA, and third-party payer knowledge preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the first point of contact for referral sources and potential patients to schedule assessments/admissions.
• Thoroughly assess and complete assessment tools for clients as required.
• Document findings, recommendations and outcomes; triage, precertification, data analysis and clinical documentation.
