Job summary

Universal Health Services' Fremont Hospital is seeking an Intake Administrative Assistant to join the Intake Department during the AM shift. You will manage inquiry calls, update the bed board, and coordinate scheduling and documentation with clinical and admissions staff.

The role requires strong customer service skills and attention to detail, supporting a 148-bed inpatient psychiatric facility that provides a range of services from assessments to hospitalization and outpatient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Minimum one year experience in human services, social services, psychiatric, or mental health setting with administrative duties and customer service.

We are currently hiring an Intake Administrative Assistant for Fremont Hospital!

AM Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm

The Intake Administrative Assistant is responsible for handling inquiry calls coming into the Intake Department, updating the bed board, scheduling assessments, obtaining necessary signatures from patients, and thorough communications with department nurses and the admissions department staff and other non-clinical duties as assigned.

Fremont Hospital is a fully accredited, 148-bed private inpatient psychiatric hospital providing quality care for children through adults. The facility provides a full assortment of care which includes assessments, inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, partial-hospitalization, intensive outpatient psychiatric treatment as well as chemical dependency outpatient care.

Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma Required; Bachelor's Degree Preferred.

Experience

• Minimum one year experience in a human service, social service, psychiatric, or mental health setting, performing administrative duties, telephonic triage and inquiries, and customer service.

Additional Requirement

• Must demonstrate knowledge and skill in provision of services to various populations including children, adolescents, adults, older adults and dually diagnosed patients in an inpatient hospital setting.
• CPR with AED (CPR/AED) certification must be current and a copy of your certification mustbe presented to Human Resources upon hire.
• Must successfully complete the Fremont Hospital's non- violent Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training course within 90 days of employment and prior to assisting with preventative intervention measures.
