Job summary

USPI Medical Park Tower Surgery Center in Austin, TX is seeking a Full-Time Insurance Verifier to join our team. The role focuses on validating patient information and insurance coverage for outpatient procedures across General, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic, and Urology.

The position emphasizes weekday work only, with occasional early mornings or later evenings; no holidays, weekends, or on-call.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in insurance verification.
• Excellent communication skills with patients over the phone and in person.
• Forty-five (45) wpm typing skills required.
• Familiar with AdvantX and common office software.

USPI Medical Park Tower Surgery Centeris seeking a motivated Full-TimeInsurance Verifier to join our team. We have 5 OR rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in General, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic, Urology.Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.

Job Duties

• Validating and entering patient information and insurance coverage into the appropriate computer system.
• Verify insurance benefits by reviewing our contract and patient’s quoted benefits.
• Determine co-pay.
• Post all insurance and billing comments.
• Enter all information into the patient accounting system.
• Contact patients regarding money due prior to the date of surgery.
• Insurance coverage into the appropriate computer system. Duties may also include communicating with physician offices, insurance carriers, and patient follow-ups.
