  • Enter coverage percentages, annual maximums, deductibles, remaining balances, and other relevant benefit details accurately.
  • Attach detailed insurance breakdowns to the appropriate patient records, images, Doc Center, or SmartDocs areas.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with insurance carriers, dental practices, and internal team members.
  • Maintain accurate documentation while consistently meeting turnaround times, quality expectations, and office-specific requirements.
  • Work independently across assigned dental practices while managing priorities and maintaining reliable communication.
  • Contribute to continued professional development and pursue opportunities to qualify for additional specialties as experience and performance grow.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of recent dental insurance verification experience within the past 2 years.
  • Strong knowledge of dental insurance terminology and benefits, including coverage percentages, deductibles, annual maximums, remaining benefits, and limitations.
  • Hands-on experience using dental practice management software to document and manage insurance information.

  • Availability during some daytime hours Monday through Friday is required for office responsibilities, meetings, and communication with insurance carriers; schedules may vary by assigned practice.
  • Ability to maintain a dedicated home workspace equipped with a printer, reliable high-speed internet, and a computer meeting applicable hardware and software requirements.
  • Must reside in the United States and be located in an eligible state for employment.
