Qualifications

• Experience with insurance verification, benefits eligibility and pre-certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance benefits and obtain pre-certifications for outpatient procedures.
• Estimate and communicate patient liabilities and coverage to scheduling and patients.
• Maintain current knowledge of outpatient imaging policies and payer requirements.
• Contact payers and physician offices to resolve CPT or eligibility issues.
• Support registration processes as needed and coordinate with hospital staff.
