Job summary

R1 RCM Holdco Inc. is seeking an Insurance Verification Specialist for an onsite role at Ascension Dell Seton Medical Center – University of Texas in Austin.

The schedule is Wednesday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with duties that include verifying insurance coverage, supporting collections, and ensuring a positive financial experience for patients. The candidate should have prior insurance verification experience, be detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced

• Manage multiple priorities while maintaining compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Participate in Emergency Department on-call rotation twice per month and work some holidays as needed.

This is an onsite position at Ascension Dell Seton Medical Center - University of Texas. Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM.

As our Insurance Verification Specialist, you will help ensure accurate insurance verification, support collections efforts, and contribute to a positive financial experience for patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Every day you will verify insurance coverage, communicate with patients, payers, and internal teams, and manage multiple accounts while maintaining accuracy and timeliness. To thrive in this role, you must be detail-oriented, adaptable, organized, and able to work effectively under pressure while managing changing priorities.

Here’s what you will experience working as an Insurance Verification Specialist:

• Verify patient insurance coverage accurately and efficiently
• Support collections efforts and help address patient financial responsibilities appropriately
• Communicate with patients, insurance companies, and internal departments to resolve insurance-related issues
• Manage multiple priorities while maintaining compliance with organizational policies and procedures

Required Skills:

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $16.12 - $23.21 per hour. Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
