Job summary

NACBA in Passaic County, NJ is seeking an Insurance Verification representative to join our privately held company providing complex rehabilitation products. The role verifies insurance benefits and obtains authorizations by phone, fax or email, coordinating with customers and physicians as needed.

Your day includes explaining copays and out-of-pocket costs, printing prescriptions, scheduling deliveries, and scanning documents.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work independently and eager to learn.
• High School Diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office.

Privately held, Provider of Complex Rehabilitation products seeks a full or part-time Insurance Verification representative. Position based in suburban Passaic County.

• Verify insurance benefits and obtain insurance authorizations for products and services via telephone, fax or email.
• Make and return calls to Customers to explain insurance benefits, copays and other out of pocket costs for equipment or services.
• Print prescriptions and obtain signatures from physicians via telephone, fax and email.
• Schedule deliveries with customers and print delivery tickets.
• Scan and retrieve documents as needed.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and High School Diploma required, college degree preferred.
• Hours are 9AM to 5PM Monday thru Friday with 1 hour for lunch. Flexible hours available for part time work.
• Health insurance and other benefits available after 90 days. Two weeks vacation and 401k available after one year of service.
• Must be able to work independently and eager to learn.

Salary/Compensation: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
